Burleigh Car Storage Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms

  • Minimum Period: The minimum billable storage period is one calendar month unless other arrangements have been made.
  • Continuous Payment Obligation: If you intend to remove the vehicle during a reservation period and not ending the storage account, the account holder must still continue to pay for storage to reserve their space.
  • No Partial Month Refunds: Additional days added after a full calendar month will be considered as another full month booking and no refunds are given if ending storage partway through a month.
  • Payment Methods: All account holders must provide credit card details at the commencement of their storage booking. For all the invoices issued from the second month, you will have the option to pay via credit card or direct bank transfer. All credit card payments will incur 2.2% fees.

2. Vehicle Measurement

  • Measurement Confirmation: Currently we only accept cars up to 6 meters in length.

3. Risk and Liability

  • Customer’s Risk: The customer occupies the premises at their own risk.
  • Owner’s Responsibility: The owner shall not be responsible under any circumstances for any damage to the customer’s vehicle from any event whatsoever.
  • Indemnification: The customer indemnifies and agrees to keep the owner indemnified in relation to any claims made against the owner for any reason, including any negligent act or omission by the owner, in the event of any claim related to the customer’s vehicle or use of the storage area.

4. Insurance

  • Vehicle Insurance: Vehicles must be insured by the owner of the vehicle while in storage.

5. Usage Restrictions

  • Storage Only: The facility is for storage only. Additional spaces can be provided upon request for storage of smaller personal goods in addition to battery maintenance and recharging.
  • Prohibited Items: No chemicals or gases other than in the vehicle’s normal fuel tank are to be stored with any vehicle.
  • Safety and Environmental Hazards: Management reserves the right to refuse storage of any vehicle they consider may be a safety or environmental hazard.
